Oversampling is typically used in audio frequency ADCs where the required sampling rate (typically 44.1 or 48 kHz) is very low compared to the clock speed of typical transistor circuits (>1 MHz). In this case, by using the extra bandwidth to distribute quantization error onto out of band frequencies, the accuracy of the ADC can be greatly increased at no cost. Furthermore, as any aliased signals are also typically out of band, aliasing can often be completely eliminated using very low cost filters.

Once you’ve started to build up your following, you may want to consider adding a Facebook Group to your marketing plan. With more than one billion people using Facebook Groups every month, it’s an audience too large to ignore. Think of Groups as the online equivalent of the office water cooler or your favorite coffee shop. They are a place for people to get together and share information and ideas with like-minded users in an online community environment.
The improvement in SNR is 3 dB (equivalent to 0.5 bits) per octave of oversampling which is not sufficient for many applications. Therefore, oversampling is usually coupled with noise shaping (see sigma-delta modulators). With noise shaping, the improvement is 6L+3 dB per octave where L is the order of loop filter used for noise shaping. e.g. – a 2nd order loop filter will provide an improvement of 15 dB/octave. A public group is exactly what it sounds like. It’s fully visible to everyone, and anyone can join without being approved. All members’ posts are fully visible to all other Facebook users, so this type of group does not offer the sense of privacy and security that comes with the more restricted group types. However, it is the easiest group type for users to join, and can therefore grow quickly.
for over 5 weeks, I too have been unable to get my ‘seen by’ feature to work, AFTER somebody clicks ‘like’, apparently. The counter then drops back to just the one who clicked ‘like’, then subsequent ones who click ‘like’ as well. This is really throwing us off the entire game plan. How may I FIX THIS? I’ve had my Group on FB since 2009, and maintain 222 members. Yikes!
A time-interleaved ADC uses M parallel ADCs where each ADC samples data every M:th cycle of the effective sample clock. The result is that the sample rate is increased M times compared to what each individual ADC can manage. In practice, the individual differences between the M ADCs degrade the overall performance reducing the spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR).[16] However, technologies exist to correct for these time-interleaving mismatch errors.
If you’re familiar with Facebook’s Blueprint courses, the idea here is relatively similar but for admins if groups. Facebook is compiling tutorials, can studies, and more information about how to better run your groups from experienced admins who have succeeded in doing it. This will be a valuable tool, because there are so many groups that operate in different ways, it could help you find the perfect strategy for your business.

I took an incredible writing class last year, and once it’s over, all the instructor’s students are invited into her secret Facebook group upon completion. Here, the instructor offers the group exclusive job leads and answers questions as her past students have them. This group alone is just as valuable as the class and worth taking the course for, to be honest.

Facebook has the same capability. An advertiser can advertise to a list of leads or customers by uploading a list of email addresses it already has into the Power Editor to make a custom audience. A good retargeting ad acknowledges that the brand knows you're already interested in its product. (Because, let's face it ... retargeting can be a little creepy.) A delta-encoded ADC or counter-ramp has an up-down counter that feeds a digital to analog converter (DAC). The input signal and the DAC both go to a comparator. The comparator controls the counter. The circuit uses negative feedback from the comparator to adjust the counter until the DAC's output is close enough to the input signal. The number is read from the counter. Delta converters have very wide ranges and high resolution, but the conversion time is dependent on the input signal level, though it will always have a guaranteed worst-case. Delta converters are often very good choices to read real-world signals. Most signals from physical systems do not change abruptly. Some converters combine the delta and successive approximation approaches; this works especially well when high frequencies are known to be small in magnitude.

In this analysis, we started with all accounts we can analyze and went back a period of 3 months. We removed those that didn't have conversion tracking set up properly, those with low conversion volumes (<10 conversions/month), and low volume accounts (<100 clicks/month), leaving hundreds of accounts for our analysis. We then plotted where the accounts fit in terms of conversion rate.

Groups seem to automatically rely on your network settings. You have the option to create a group within your school or alma mater's network or outside of it. Creating a group within your school network will help people in that network find the group and join it based on similar interests, rather than having to be friends with them on Facebook. Creating a group outside of your network allows you to broaden the topic and reach.
Privacy settings come in the form of "Open," "Closed" and "Secret." Open groups are public -- members can see the group and who else is in it. If the open group is within your network, users within your network can see what members post in the group. Anyone can see closed groups and who else is in them, but only members can see what is posted. Secret groups are private to members -- only members can see the group, who else is in it and what other members post.

This Facebook offer ad makes it obvious what customers would be signing up for when they click the "Sign Up" CTA button below the picture. Offer ads can easily mislead viewers into pressing their CTA just to get them to click on it, but it ultimately doesn't convert viewers into customers. BSC's approach above is clear and upfront about what it's offering throughout its conversion path.

Facebook Analytics comes replete with a number of useful features that allow you to see how prospects and customers are interacting with your website, app, Facebook page, etc. This past month, though, at F8—Facebook’s annual developer conference—the people at Facebook announced a number of new features coming to Analytics’ already full suite. The following were paramount among them:

This photo ad by the The New York Times is driving traffic to a written article with an intriguing illustration. The drawing literally depicts the article's ideal audience -- millennials. For young readers who are even a little interested in health and fitness, this cartoon (along with the enticing headline) pokes just enough fun at them to get their attention.
There’s no right type of group for all businesses. If you want to encourage lots of public discussion, a public group might be your best bet. If your business deals with an area of life that people consider to be personal or private, you might want to consider a closed group so that people feel comfortable sharing thoughts that they might not want to be publicly visible. A secret group could even be a fit, if your goal is to offer a super-exclusive online meeting place—for premium members of your subscription site, for example.
I administer two Facebook buy and sell groups. Today, I cannot approve posts. I click on “approve” and nothing happens. Also, “Group Insights” keeps posting a notification on my pages. I click on it and go there and look and when I go back to my pages, the notifications are still there. I don’t know how to remove that notification. Can anyone help with these two problems? Thanks. I always feel that Facebook groups have a much higher organic reach than Facebook pages. If I publish a blog update on my facebook page the reach is very less. But If I publish a blog updated on a facebook group in my niche then I get a lot of reach and engagements as well. And I completely agree with the fact that facebook group helps in building a personalized connection with the users.
This is tad bit off of topic.. but hoping you can help. We know now that we want a group… but it’s the privacy setting that’s confusing. FB has a table that tells you about the security, however the last entry reads “who can see stories about the group on FB (like in news feeds and search” For closed it says “anyone” and for secret is says “only members”. What are “stories about the group”. This statement is contradictory to the rest of the table. We want a group that people can find, but that no one but members can see the contents of, including photos posted, posts, etc. Are these considered “stories”? The principle of charge balancing ADC is to first convert the input signal to a frequency using a voltage to frequency converter. This frequency is then measured by a counter and converted to an output code proportional to the analog input. The main advantage of these converters is that it is possible to transmit frequency even in noisy environment or in isolated form. However, the limitation of this circuit is that the output of V/F converter depends upon an RC product whose value cannot be easily maintained with temperature and time.

The goal of the group is to allow reporters to connect with the newspaper’s most dedicated readers, sharing information about how they do their work, where story ideas come from, and how the job of political reporting gets done. While the group has fewer than 4,000 members (compared to the more than six million followers of The Washington Post’s Facebook Page), it is very active, with multiple posts per day. An ADC has several sources of errors. Quantization error and (assuming the ADC is intended to be linear) non-linearity are intrinsic to any analog-to-digital conversion. These errors are measured in a unit called the least significant bit (LSB). In the above example of an eight-bit ADC, an error of one LSB is 1/256 of the full signal range, or about 0.4%.
I run a group and the essence of it has been totally lost. I and many others Im sure, have the same problem you describe. Its Fb or their nutty algorhthm that “administers” your group now. Deciding who, how and when. I am fuming. The dynamics of the group has been destroyed. My posts disappear into thin air. Havent a clue who sees them but have been carrying out a little research and I only have fb to thank for their wretched ridiculous high tech hype for destroying the hard work of administrators and time spent keeping their members up to date. If your members dont react they dont get im afraid…and they may miss out considerably and just give up being a member. High profile groups eg 2000 members or more dont feel it so hard. Probably dont notice. Very sad. Im talking about the average 100-200 members
A pipelined ADC (also called subranging quantizer) uses two or more steps of subranging. First, a coarse conversion is done. In a second step, the difference to the input signal is determined with a digital to analog converter (DAC). This difference is then converted finer, and the results are combined in a last step. This can be considered a refinement of the successive-approximation ADC wherein the feedback reference signal consists of the interim conversion of a whole range of bits (for example, four bits) rather than just the next-most-significant bit. By combining the merits of the successive approximation and flash ADCs this type is fast, has a high resolution, and only requires a small die size. A direct-conversion ADC or flash ADC has a bank of comparators sampling the input signal in parallel, each firing for their decoded voltage range. The comparator bank feeds a logic circuit that generates a code for each voltage range. Direct conversion is very fast, capable of gigahertz sampling rates, but usually has only 8 bits of resolution or fewer, since the number of comparators needed, 2N – 1, doubles with each additional bit, requiring a large, expensive circuit. ADCs of this type have a large die size, a high input capacitance, high power dissipation, and are prone to produce glitches at the output (by outputting an out-of-sequence code). Scaling to newer submicrometre technologies does not help as the device mismatch is the dominant design limitation. They are often used for video, wideband communications or other fast signals in optical storage. There are four different types of direct ADCs.
If FB truly wants to promote groups then why is there no longer anyway to post directly to your groups from photos, social media or links on the net? This needs to be reestablished asap or groups will die. If I can’t post to the two groups I’m an admin for then there is no way to keep them active and viable. If I can’t post to the groups I’m a member of then those groups will also expire. Wake up FB. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO KEEP GROUPS GOING… Millennials vs Generation Z: WHO IS BETTER?
